BizFi was designed around the GDPR from day one: clear consent, limited retention, erasure on request and data kept in Europe.

FAQ

Everything you’re wondering about.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. The portal opens by itself when a guest joins your venue’s Wi-Fi, on iPhone and Android. No app, no password to spell out.

What Wi-Fi network do I need?

A Ubiquiti UniFi network with a UniFi OS console — a Cloud Gateway or a Dream Machine, for example. BizFi uses the official UniFi Network API and, with Cloud Connector, there’s no need to open ports or expose your gateway to the internet.

Is BizFi GDPR compliant?

It’s designed to help you comply: explicit, separate consent for terms, marketing and statistics, stored with the version of the text; limited retention with automatic deletion; one-click right to erasure; infrastructure in Europe.

Do guests have to follow us on social media?

No. They choose from the buttons you enable: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, your website or your menu. Any choice unlocks the Wi-Fi, and once the guest is online, your page is right there for them.

How long does the connection last?

You decide, per venue, from 30 minutes to 12 hours.

Can I use the digital menu without the Wi-Fi?

Yes. With QR codes on tables and windows, the menu opens straight from the phone — mobile data works too — and it can be installed as an app. And if you don’t need a menu, switch it off.

My menu is already on Glovo. Do I have to retype it?

No. Paste your Glovo store link and BizFi imports categories, dishes, prices and photos; then edit anything you like. Double-check prices: Glovo’s sometimes include a platform markup.

Which languages does it support?

Portal and menu come in Italian, English, German, French and Spanish, with the phone’s language detected automatically. The dashboard is in Italian and English.

Can I export my guest data?

Yes, whenever you like, as CSV — for one venue or all of them together. The file includes consent, so you only contact the guests who said yes.

Can I manage several venues?

Of course. Each venue has its own portal, menu, languages and guests, and you run them all from the same dashboard with your team.

Who takes care of the setup?

Our team connects your UniFi network and prepares the portal. After that, you manage branding, social links, menu, languages and Wi-Fi duration yourself from the dashboard — even from your phone.
